Burke Roofs recently completed a roofing installation project in Revere, MA. Revere is a small city located just outside of Boston, and is surrounded by Winthrop, East Boston, Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Saugus and Lynn. The total population of Revere as of 2010 was 51,755.
Revere has a rich history dating back to the Revolutionary War, and is named after the famous American patriot, Paul Revere.
Points of interest in Revere include Revere Beach, which is the oldest public beach in the United States. In its heyday, Revere Beach also offered visitors several forms of entertainment, including amusement park rides, roller skating rinks, two bowling alleys, ballrooms and food stands. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998.
Other notable sites in Revere include Kelly’s Roast Beef, Necco, the oldest continuously-operating candy production factory, and the Wonderland Greyhound Park.
