Roofing Repairs & Installation
Fall is one of the best times of year to work on home improvement projects and one of the most important areas of your home is your roof. You want to be ahead of the game and have your roof ready for when the weather starts to get cold.
Here are a few Things you should check around your home & roof:
- Clean your gutters of any leaves and other debris so it doesn’t create a clog in the downspouts. In the winter, you want your downspout clear of ice and snow so there’s no build up.
- If your house got hit with any hail storms during the summer, check your roof for any hail damage like dents or small tears in your roof or gutters.
- Make sure you has the right amount of evenly distributed insulation because if it’s not insulated it could lead to moisture damage or mold on your roof. The insulation in your attic will keep the warm air inside your home for when it gets cold in the Winter.
- Check your roof for any cracked or missing shingles that could lead to will to leaks inside your home. You should also make sure you’re for damaged vent stacks, chimneys, and skylights.
